Laman's Lens

Hello, visitor!

I am Laman, the creator of Laman’s Lens.

The purpose of Laman’s Lens is to provide a digital square through which I choose to communicate my thoughts on Scripture, theological concepts, as well as related cultural topics to anyone open to considering them. Before you continue, I offer a fair warning: searching the whole of my writings, one will be hard pressed to find an original thought. For, I am no trailblazer. Rather, I have aimed to apply the wisdom and insights I have gleaned from godly men and Scripture itself to each passage and idea I attempt to understand and communicate to you, the reader.

If in my efforts to lead out meaning from Scripture, the reader disagrees with my conclusion, excellent! Come, man, and sharpen another. I ask you to tell me where I went wrong. For, insofar as I stay in the bounds I have set up (illustrated in the About section), I am comfortable. But, if either my application of those principles or the principles themselves are judged to be errant by the reader, do choose to bless me with grace of rejoicing in the correction and humility.
